LONDON, Shoreditch (2015)
My romance with London has been ongoing for many years.
In 2015, I took a solo trip over to find some new inspiration.
One day, I took my camera on the most colorful and inspiring trip around the Shoreditch area.
As I wandered around the city, exploring new spots, museums, small galleries and thrift stores,
I realized my favorite and most inspirational aspect of London was the city itself.
The architecture, the street art, the traditional beautiful old red bricks all everywhere, my camera worked non-stop with me trying to capture all the things I had in front of me.
The little peculiar spots, intersections and buildings;
Some small and some monumental wall pieces - what stood out to me the most was the concepts of
TEXT ~ TEXTURE ~ COLOR
My journey was documented in photos, and as such, have been integrated all over in the aesthetic of BRICK & BOBBIN:
In my prints, texts and graphic content, the collages that I've made into lux rugs and wall pieces - as well as many more products in store.
